Coach Jim Li:

Coach Jim got into teaching when he started training his daughter in 2001. Soon after, many parents asked him to teach their kids. Certified by USPTA, coach Jim has trained more than 300 junior players to compete at high school, USTA local and national levels which includes a national champion. Many of his students are well rounded in sports and academics and progress to become successful young adults.

A collegiate soccer player, Coach Jim is passionate about tennis and sports with an emphasis on helping kids to grow strong physically and mentally. His priority is to build a solid foundation to allow players improve as they grow.  An engineer by training, Coach Jim really knows how to improve your stroke mechanics to be a better player! He makes it serious fun for everyone!

Coach Jason has been teaching tennis since 2008 at several clubs in New Jersey. Coach Jason has worked with many junior and collegiate players. He is currently the Men’s and Women’s assistant coach for The College of New Jersey. Coach Jason played college tennis on a scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He enjoys helping students’ problem solve while setting and meeting new goals. He is always focused on the player’s best interest while creating an enjoyable atmosphere.

Coach Nayden comes to us from Bulgaria after teaching in Colorado for summer of 2015. He brings a wealth of knowledge in tennis training, especially junior development. Coach Nayden has helped many junior players to maximize their potential with some reaching top 10 ranking in Bulgaria or playing college tennis. He received a Bachelor of Science degree plus a 2-yr postgraduate training in tennis coaching. He is certified by ITF and USPTR. Coach Nayden is passionate about tennis since a young age and reached top 30 in Bulgaria as a junior. His teaching philosophy is to teach every single student with passion and respect their own way of learning.

Coach Dan has been coaching tennis locally for over 20 years.  He was a ranked junior who played for Rutgers in college.  Dan has coached several high school teams.  He enjoys helping children to adults at all levels improve and appreciate the whole game. He is certified by USPTR. Dan is also a certified yoga instructor and has experience working with a wide range of people helping them focus and become stronger and more flexible.

Coach Meng is certified by USPTR for QuickStart. With 13 years of experience, she brings passion and a wealth of knowledge about junior development and competition. She specializes in working with young beginners getting them interested in tennis. Her teaching philosophy is: let’s play and have fun!
